HOT LUNCH FORMS ARE DUE TOMORROW, FRIDAY, 2/17!!
INTERIM
REPORTS: Today marks the end of the Interim for the 3rd Quarter. Interim Grades will be posted no later
than Thursday, Feb. 23rd. Teachers will not send home a paper copy listing interim grades. You can obtain information
regarding your student(s) grade status by logging into PROGRESS BOOK. There is a link on the home page of the school
website. If you are unable to gain access please phone the office for instructions.
All
ACME RECEIPTS need to be turned in no later than TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28th in order for us to submit them and
benefit from the cash back program. Last year, Sts. Peter & Paul School received almost $1,000. from the Acme Community
Cash Back Program. The receipts must be dated between September 24, 2011 and February 11, 2012. We need the
entire receipt to receive the credit.
CYO TRACK & FIELD and VOLLEYBALL:
A flyer is being sent with students for Track & Field and Volleyball. These are being offered
for students in Grade 3-8 for Track & Field and Grades 5-8 for Volleyball. Track & Field is combined with
Sacred Heart. There will be no sign-up day. Simply return the required forms and fee to the school office or
to Dave Gerwig - Athletic Director.
Volleyball information will be sent soon. Grades
5-8 (4th graders who played last year may be eligible if there is enough interest).

Improvement Parent Meeting: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2012 at 7:00pm in the School Gym. Topics of discussion
include, but are not limited to: our school vision, building improvements, bingo obligations, etc. Please RSVP
via the form being sent home today. This meeting is being brought to you by Members of the Sts. Peter & Paul School
Board. The deadline to RSVP is Tuesday, February 21st.
FORESTERS ACTIVITY:
We will hold the Annual Christmas Card Contest on Tuesday, February 28th after school. This is a Forester sign-in
event – we encourage forester students, even if they are not staying for the activity to please sign the log. Forester
sign-in activities greatly benefit SPPS with monetary donations.

Nick Llewellyn in Grade 5 is our newest MILLION word reader!
Jr. High
Fundraiser: The bus is now full for chaperones. We are checking into the cost of driving separately
if parents are interested. Candy order forms and money are due by March 14th. A final invoice and permission slip
will be sent once all profits have been tallied.
2012-2013
TUITION ASSISTANCE: There is still time to submit the Private School Aid Service form. This is a Tuition
Assistance program sponsored by the Diocese. All funds are directly distributed from the Diocese. The completed
form must reach PSAS by March 1st for Round 1. Round 1 has the most money awarded. There are forms available
in the office. If accepted, this could greatly reduce your tuition responsibility for the 2012-2013 school year. Any
questions, please call the office.
Family Fish Fry
Friday, February 24, 2012 - The Holy Name and Altar Society are presenting a Family Fish Fry the 1st Friday of Lent.
Presale tickets are available in the school office (avoid the lines and get your tickets prior to arriving ☺).
Dinners will be served from 4:30pm till 7:30pm. Your ticket price includes: Fish, Cole Slaw, Apple Sauce,
French Fries and Soft Drinks. Adults = 7.50, ages 10 & Under = $6.00, ages 3 & Under = Free. Please
join us for dinner and family fellowship and keep YOUR kitchen clean. ☺
SKILLS
BASKETBALL…..GRADES K-3
There will be a skills basketball clinic for boys & girls in Kindergarten
through Grade 3 who DID NOT play CYO this winter. This will be a non-competititve event for any student wanting to
learn the fundamental skills of basketball. There will be 4 sessions in the gym on the following Sundays: Feb
26th, Mar. 4th, Mar 18th, Mar 25th. Kdg & Grade 1 will meet from 2:00 – 2:45 and Grades 2 & 3 from 3:00
– 3:45. There is no fee and pre-registration is not required. Please contact Mrs. Lewis

Rectory Secretary, Yvonne, lost her battle with cancer over the weekend. She will be greatly missed by SPPS
staff & students and the entire parish community.
