November 2011 Dear Parents, The students are adjusting
very well in the Spanish class. The Kindergartens are like a sponge, they are learning the numbers and colors,
some greetings and the classroom's objects. Grades 1st and 2nd are reviewing last year's lessons and everything start
coming back. 3rd and 4th grades are also reviewing what we learned last year; although 4th graders are being challanged
this year, they seem to be doing well in their quizzes. This year, 5th graders are using a new textbook called
"Hola" and they are demostrating good understanding of the subjects introduced. 6th-8th grades spent the first
two months reviewing last year's lessons but now, we are eager to start learning new vocabulary and the introduction
of some verbs. We will be working in verbs' conjugations and practicing some mini-conversations. I always
encourage the students to tell the parents what they've learned in class and I ask you parents to ask your child/children what
they have learned in Spanish too.
Spanish 2011-2012 September/2011 Hello everyone, my name is Frinett Broski and I will
be the Spanish teacher for the 2011-2012 year. By this time, you have already received a letter that I sent home with each student. The purpose of the letter was to make you aware of the different
activities that we will be doing in Spanish class. I also wanted to let you know in that letter which are
the student’s expectations in this class. My primarily goal is for each student to learn Spanish
and this can be accomplished with effort and dedication. If they follow the guidelines that we already
discussed it won’t be a problem. As the class progresses, we should be able to introduce some games
to make the class fun. I read my emails in a regular basis, so please do not hesitate
to email me at mrsbroski@stspeterandpaulschool.com. Sincerely, Frinett Broski
