WELCOME to the COMPUTER LAB

THANK YOU to everyone who was involved in making the new Computer Lab possible for our students!!  Your time and generosity are GREATLY appreciated by the students and faculty at Sts. Peter and Paul.

The Lab now has 22 wireless, flat-screened, state of the art Apple computers.  This will allow me to teach entire classes of students at one time, as well as, provide Open Lab opportunities for all students and teachers.  Thank you for allowing me to work with your child(ren).  I have the best job in the world.  It is going to be an exciting time in the Computer Lab this year!!

Please note my monthly newsletter and the links below so that we can keep the lines of communication open.  This is a very important component to your child's success in all that they do.  Together we can help your child have a wonderful year!

IMPORTANT UPDATES:

*Please return Internet Safety Forms as soon as possible.  Thank You.

*Attention New Students to Sts. Peter & Paul:  If you are in grades 1-6, you will need a set of earbuds or headphones for computer class.  We use these when we are working on keyboarding.  Please put them in a ziplock baggie (for lice protection) with your first and last names and grade on the bag.  They will stay in the bins in the Lab and be kept for the following year.

*I only send home Interim reports if your child's grade is in danger at that point in the quarter.  Periodically, I will sent home a progress report near the end of the quarter, if a test or quiz is coming up that will make or break a final quarter grade.

REMINDERS:

*Visit my webpage at least monthly for updates and the newsletter.

*Tests and quizzes look VERY similar to the study guides.  Please review them.

*Please continue to turn in old cell phones or ink cartridges for our recycling program. Every little bit helps the technology fund. Thank you for your support.

*All lessons taught or activities completed in Computer class follow the Cleveland Diocese 'Course of Study' which is developed from the State of Ohio's 'Course of Study'. Also, activities are integrated into the subject areas whenever possible, which is one our Professional Development Plan goals mandated by the Cleveland Diocese. If you have any questions about what is taught in Computer class or any other questions, please use my email link and send me an email.
