We have a new Principal.
Mrs. Kathryn Yaussy, a former
Principal in the Wadsworth City Schools and Revere Schools was selected from a field of three outstanding candidates by the
Search Committee.
Mrs. Yaussy has an extensive background in education ranging from teaching to administration to teaching
at the University of Akron. We are fortunate in having this outstanding exponent of education who is a highly spiritual
person as well.
A resident of Wadsworth, Mrs. Yaussy is a member of St. Andrew's Church in Norton and a graduate
of St. Cyril and Methodius School in Barberton. Her Faith is very important to her and she serves as a member of the
Legion of Mary.
Although all three of the candidates would have been excellent Principals, Mrs. Yaussy distinguished herself as having
the edge in curriculum, years of service and a firm understanding of our school.
We will arrange for the parents and
school community to greet her in early or mid-June.
