We are having a GREAT year in the fifth grade.  Your child and I are experiencing many academically stimulating and rewarding experiences.  You and I will be spending more time with your child than any other adult.  I feel that close communication between you, your child, and me is an essential element to ensure a successful year.

     Parents are the most important people in a young person's life, and we need to work together for the benefit of your child.  I need you to support my academic, homework, and discipline efforts here at school.  In return, I will keep you informed about all aspects of your child's experiences here at school.  With home and school working together, I know that each student can have his/her most successful and memorable year.
